Economic feasibility study summer attractions Winterberg gondola

After more than 15 years of planning the project of connecting the resort of Schierke to the Wurmberg ski area, the largest ski area in the region, is now about to be implemented. A group of investors is to invest some 15 million euros for the construction of a ten passenger gondola from Schierke to Winterberg Mountain. The overall economics of the project will depend in addition to the winter sports also from the summer visits. For their generation the operators won't just rely on the beautiful scenery of the surrounding Harz National Park but also create additional incentives in the form of special visitors attractions. For these attractions Montenius Consult is producing an economic calculation on behalf of Winterberg Schierke GmbH.
