Profitability calculation Master Plan Söllereck

The "Kur- und Verkehrsbetriebe AG Oberstdorf" operates a 6-passenger gondola at the Söllereck all year round, and at its upper terminus the "Berghaus Schönblick" and the "Allgäu Coaster" in the lower terminus area. In winter four additional ski lifts are operated, in summer a climbing forest. The Söllereck is positioned as a family mountain all year round and in winter it is one of six ski areas in the Oberstdorf/Kleinwalsertal region and home to several ski schools.

In the surrounding ski areas, considerable investments have recently been made in the infrastructure of the lifts as well as in the snow-making systems. Plans are now also available for the Söllereck, which should form the basis for a sustainable development of the family mountain Söllereck - in winter as well as in summer. Montenius Consult was commissioned to examine the economic feasibility of the upcoming projects. Extensive market research studies were also carried out as a basis for forecasting the future number of entries expected as a result of the expansion measures.
