QMF online survey during the 2013/14 season

For the second time ten ski resorts in the Sauerland and Harz mountains used QMF in the 2013/14 season to monitor customer satisfaction. Due to only four days of operation in some cases, the number of visitors fell both in the ski areas as well as on the survey compared to the previous winter. However, there were interesting and - in a sample of around 5,000 - also reliable insights. So it was clear that ski areas that had invested, gained more satisfied customers. Thus resulted by the optimizations regarding snowmaking, lifts, catering or other infrastructure that were done over the summer of 2013. Thanks to these measures some resorts scored significantly better reviews by the customers. The next winter, the group of participating ski areas will increase even further and allow comparisons between the most important winter sports regions in the Central German Uplands who register together significantly more than half of all skier visits in the low mountain ranges.
