Visitor forecast for cable car project in Turkey

The Turkish Şentürkler group plans to replace the existing tramway from Bursa to Mount Uludag by a state-of-the-art eight passenger gondola. Moreover, the line of the ropeway shall be extended. Once finished the gondola will supply a direct link between Bursa, a town of almost two million inhabitants, and the ski slopes on Uludag, Turkey's most popular alpine ski resort. With a length of almost eight kilometres the gondola will be one of the largest of its kind worldwide. Montenius Consult has been commissioned with a market analysis and a subsequent visitor forecast.
