With comprehensive primary and secondary analyses, Montenius Consult laid the foundation for the master plan for the further development of the Alpspitzbahn above Nesselwang. Among other things, more than 1,000 guests of the Alpspitzbahn were surveyed digitally and face-to-face on site.
With an overwhelming majority of 42:7 votes, the district council of Freyung-Grafenau supports the modernization plans at the Almberg. Montenius Consult was involved in the master planning and prepared the economic feasibility calculations for the project.
There is reason to celebrate for the Skizentrum Mitterdorf. In its meeting on December 13, 2021, the district council of Freyung-Grafenau voted 43:3 in favor of the modernization plans. The grant notification from the government of Lower Bavaria followed shortly thereafter.
Oberhof is world-famous for being the center of biathlon and luge sports and the leading tourist destination in the Thuringian Forest. The town's goal is to also take a leading position among German low mountain destinations in the future. The Tourism Strategy 2030 prepared by Montenius Consult sets the course for achieving this goal.
Loser Bergbahnen is investing in its future. From 2022, the planned Loser Panoramabahn will replace two old lifts and, during its operating hours, also the Loser Panoramastraße. The ecological, social and economic benefits have been assessed in a cost-benefit analysis.
The Turmbergbahn is the oldest funicular railway in Germany. However, the concession of the railway ends in 2022 and a comprehensive renewal of the funicular is inevitable. After Montenius Consult had already performed an economic feasibility study and DCF analysis for the project in 2017 and updated it in 2018, Montenius Consult was now also able to support the project with a cost-benefit analysis.
